I had to casually close that bathroom door and redirect everyone to the half bath downstairs while making small talk about the "charming original fixtures." Then his wife—WHO I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WAS WITH HIM—starts opening the sellers' bedroom closets and critiquing the homeowner's wardrobe choices out loud. "Oh, she really likes beige, doesn't she?" Ma'am, those aren't staged clothes. That's someone's actual life. They left without signing in, without taking a flyer, and without any apparent intention of ever buying property. Just came for the free cookies and the bathroom experience, I guess.
