CONFESSION #0102 — CLIENT FROM HELL
Saturday, June 21, 2025
I had a client who insisted on bringing her "spiritual advisor" to every single showing. Every. Single. One. This woman would walk through each room burning sage, chanting, and then announce whether the house had "good energy" or "dark spirits." We lost out on three houses because the advisor needed "48 hours to consult with the universe" before we could make an offer. By the time the universe got back to her, the houses were under contract. The fourth house? Advisor said she sensed a "portal" in the basement. It was the sump pump. I tried explaining that the sump pump was not, in fact, a gateway to another dimension, but apparently I don't have the gift. After two months of this, they fired me because I was "not open to alternative guidance." Last I heard, they're still renting and the advisor is now also their real estate agent. She got licensed specifically to help them. I hope the universe enjoys filling out disclosure forms.

Judge Reginald Escrow III
⚖️ Presiding
GUILTY OF SPIRITUAL MALPRACTICE AND FAILURE TO COMMUNE WITH BASEMENT PORTALS
This Court has seen many things in its distinguished tenure but NEVER has it witnessed such flagrant disregard for interdimensional real estate protocols. The defendant clearly lacks the basic qualifications to practice in a field where sump pumps may or may not serve as gateways to realms beyond our comprehension. Judge Escrow himself once lost a timeshare in Sedona because he refused to acknowledge that the garbage disposal was haunted by the spirit of a disappointed contractor, so THIS COURT UNDERSTANDS THE STAKES. However, the true crime here is patience. Two months of sage inhalation and universe-waiting before seeking judicial intervention suggests a constitutional weakness this Court finds troubling. The spiritual advisor obtaining licensure is frankly the only rational outcome and Judge Escrow wishes her well in her negotiations with whatever entities lurk in American basements. This Court must now adjourn to cleanse its chambers.
