CONFESSION #0238 — OTHER
Tuesday, November 4, 2025
I've started keeping a "therapy journal" that's really just a running list of things clients have said to me with complete sincerity. Last week's winner: "Can you ask the sellers if they'd be willing to leave the house but keep paying the mortgage for a year while we decide if we really want it?" I just stared at my phone for a solid minute trying to figure out if I was being pranked. I wasn't. This was a real adult human with a real job asking me to propose this to another real adult human. The worst part? That wasn't even the most unhinged request that day. Earlier, a different client asked if I could "just check" whether the neighbors were "the type who have loud parties" by knocking on their doors and interviewing them. When I explained that's not really something I do, she seemed genuinely confused, like I'd told her I don't show houses on Tuesdays. I love this job. I love this job. I love this job. If I say it enough times maybe it'll feel true again.

Judge Reginald Escrow III
⚖️ Presiding
GUILTY OF MAINTAINING AN UNAUTHORIZED ARCHIVE OF HUMAN DELUSION
This Court has reviewed the evidence and finds the defendant GUILTY of operating what can only be described as a psychological survival mechanism masquerading as wellness documentation. The audacity of clients asking sellers to vacate their own property while continuing mortgage payments as some sort of indefinite house-sitting arrangement suggests we have entered a post-rational era of real estate negotiations. This Court is PARTICULARLY disturbed by the neighbor interview request, as if agents are now expected to conduct informal census operations and social compatibility assessments WHILE ALSO showing properties on Tuesdays. The defendant's repetitive incantation of professional affection at the conclusion of this confession indicates advanced cognitive deterioration consistent with prolonged exposure to the buying public. Judge Escrow himself once asked a real estate agent to determine whether a property was haunted and she simply handed him a disclosure form and walked away, which he respected. This Court finds the therapy journal not only permissible but MANDATORY for anyone working in client-facing industries. The defendant is sentenced to continued employment with full documentation privileges.
SCANDAL RATING: 6.8/10 Therapeutic Documentation Defense
