CONFESSION #0263 — OPEN HOUSE HORROR
Saturday, November 29, 2025
I hosted an open house last Sunday where a woman walked in, immediately took off her shoes, and then proceeded to take a 20-minute nap on the primary bedroom bed. Just fully laid down, closed her eyes, and passed out. When I finally woke her up as gently as possible, she said she was "testing the energy of the room" and that the house "wasn't speaking to her." Ma'am, the house isn't speaking to anyone, it's a three-bedroom ranch in a subdivision. Then, while I was dealing with her, someone else let their kid eat an entire bag of chips while sitting on the staging couch, and another visitor asked if the sellers would throw in their family photos because "they really tie the room together." The actual photos of strangers. By hour three, I had answered zero serious questions about the property but had given detailed directions to the nearest Starbucks four separate times. I sat in my car afterward for fifteen minutes just staring at the steering wheel before driving home.

⚖️ Presiding
GUILTY OF AGGRAVATED HOSPITALITY IN THE FACE OF SUBURBAN ABSURDISM
This court has reviewed the evidence and finds itself PROFOUNDLY DISTURBED that the defendant permitted a complete stranger to achieve REM sleep on staged bedding while simultaneously allowing a minor to consume an entire bag of chips on furniture that does not belong to anyone present. The audacity of the photo request alone would warrant sanctions in any civilized jurisdiction, as Judge Escrow has PERSONALLY never encountered someone who wanted to purchase the memories of strangers, and frankly this court needs a moment. The defendant's failure to eject the so-called energy tester within the first ninety seconds constitutes a dereliction of open house duty that this bench cannot overlook. Furthermore, providing Starbucks directions FOUR TIMES suggests the defendant has accidentally opened a tourism kiosk rather than a real estate showing. The fifteen minutes of steering wheel contemplation is the only reasonable behavior documented in this entire confession, and this court recommends extending that practice indefinitely.
SCANDAL RATING: 7.4/10 Hostile Napping Territory
