CONFESSION #0277 — CLIENT FROM HELL
Saturday, December 13, 2025
I had a client who insisted on bringing her "energy consultant" to every single showing. Not an inspector. Not a contractor. A woman named Moonflower who would walk through each room holding crystals and declaring whether the space had "welcoming vibrations." We lost out on three houses because Moonflower detected "residual conflict energy" in the kitchens. One of them was a stunning colonial that had been staged within an inch of its life and smelled like fresh cookies. Moonflower said the breakfast nook was "holding onto ancestral trauma." I stood there nodding like this was totally normal feedback while the listing agent gave me a look that could strip paint. After two months, my client finally found a place Moonflower approved of. We put in an offer. It got accepted. Then Moonflower had a "vision" during the inspection that the basement was built over a "disrupted ley line." My client walked. I've been selling real estate for eleven years and I've never had to Google "ley line remediation" before writing this confession. I did. It's not a thing.

Judge Reginald Escrow III
⚖️ Presiding
GUILTY OF CRYSTAL-ENABLED PROFESSIONAL HUMILIATION AND FAILURE TO ESTABLISH LEY LINE BOUNDARIES
This Court has witnessed many abdications of professional dignity, but ELEVEN YEARS of real estate experience surrendered to a woman named MOONFLOWER is a betrayal of the entire commission-based workforce. You stood in a cookie-scented colonial nodding about ancestral breakfast nook trauma while a listing agent's eyes performed acts of violence upon your professional reputation. Judge Escrow himself once Googled something in desperation at 2 AM and it was "can a judge hold himself in contempt" and the answer was YES, YES HE CAN. You enabled this crystal circus for TWO MONTHS when you should have established boundaries somewhere between showing one and showing seventeen thousand. The ley line research is what breaks this Court because you typed those words into a search engine with your own fingers hoping perhaps that geology would save you from what your spine could not. The basement was not built over disrupted earth energy. It was built over your dignity and Moonflower paved the driveway.
