CONFESSION #0708 — OTHER AGENT WAS THE PROBLEM
Saturday, July 18, 2026
The wire didn't arrive.
Monday 9am: closing scheduled for 11. Buyer's agent texts me, says funds sent Friday.
Monday 10am: title company has nothing.
Monday 11am: buyer's agent not answering phone.
Monday 12pm: I find out she gave her clients the wrong wiring instructions. From a different transaction. From 2019.
Monday 1pm: $340,000 currently sitting in someone else's escrow account in Phoenix.
Monday 2pm: sellers are at the house with a moving truck. New owners supposed to take possession at noon.
Monday 3pm: buyer's agent finally calls back. Asks me why I'm "being aggressive."
Monday 4pm: Phoenix title company says they can return funds in 3 to 5 business days.
Tuesday: sellers checking into a hotel.
Wednesday: sellers still in hotel.
Thursday: I'm paying for the hotel. Out of my commission. Because her clients won't and she won't and the deal has to close or everyone loses everything.
Friday: funds finally arrive. We close.
Saturday: she leaves me a Google review. Two stars. Says I was difficult to work with.

GUILTY OF WIRE FRAUD ADJACENT INCOMPETENCE AND RETALIATORY DEFAMATION IN THE SECOND DEGREE
The Court has reviewed this confession and finds itself PHYSICALLY ILL at the sheer audacity on display here, though NOT from the confessor, no no no, from this PHANTOM MENACE of a buyer's agent who apparently stores her wiring instructions like Reginald stores his ex-wife's casserole recipes, which is to say INCORRECTLY and FROM A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT ERA OF MY LIFE. You paid for a HOTEL out of your own commission because this woman sent three hundred and forty thousand dollars to Phoenix like it was a POSTCARD TO A DISTANT AUNT, and then she had the UNMITIGATED GALL to leave you a two-star review, which The Court must note is the exact rating I once gave a ceiling fan that refused to oscillate with conviction. I cite here the landmark case of Wire Instructions v. Basic Professional Competence, 2019, in which the court held that if you are going to ruin lives with outdated documents you should at least have the DECENCY to answer your phone while doing so. The Court finds the confessor INNOCENT of all wrongdoing and instead issues a bench warrant for whoever taught that buyer's agent how to use email. This ruling is final, and Reginald must now go lie down because this one genuinely upset him.
