CONFESSION #0818 — NEW AGENT BAPTISM BY FIRE
Thursday, August 27, 2026
The photos looked great. Professional, staged, the whole thing. Listing goes live Thursday morning. By Thursday afternoon my phone's blowing up but not in a good way. Seller calls me screaming. "Why is there a picture of my husband's girlfriend on your listing?" I'm like what are you talking about. "The bedroom. There's a photo on the nightstand. That's not me." Pull up the photos on my laptop. Zoom in on the master bedroom shot. Sure enough, little framed picture on the nightstand, clear as day, some blonde woman I've never seen. The photographer didn't notice. The stager didn't notice. I walked through twice and didn't notice. But 200 people on the internet noticed. Seller's marriage is now... I don't even know. She's asking me if she can sue somebody. I'm three weeks into this job. My broker's in Cabo and not answering. Took the listing down. Husband called me separately asking for the original photo file. I said no. I think? I don't know if that was right.

⚖️ Presiding
GUILTY OF NEGLIGENT EXHIBITION OF INFIDELITY EVIDENCE IN THE FIRST DEGREE, WITH AGGRAVATING CIRCUMSTANCES OF PHOTOGRAPHIC MALPRACTICE
The Court has reviewed this catastrophic display of professional blindness and frankly, Reginald is APPALLED but also deeply impressed by the sheer improbability of this disaster. You walked through TWICE. The stager walked through. The photographer — whose SINGULAR JOB is to look at things — looked directly at this nightstand and said "yes, perfect, love the ambient lighting on this monument to betrayal." This Court once missed a "Live Laugh Love" sign in a listing photo and lost THREE NIGHTS of sleep, so I understand photographic oversight, but you have somehow facilitated the digital distribution of adultery evidence to approximately 200 strangers who were just trying to imagine themselves grilling on that patio. The husband calling you separately for the file is EXACTLY the kind of sidebar conversation that makes The Court grateful it only presides over real estate sins and not whatever is about to happen in that family's group text. You did the right thing saying no, probably, I think — this Court is not qualified to adjudicate custody of incriminating nightstand photography and frankly neither is anyone in Cabo. Three weeks into this job and you have already achieved legendary status in ways that will haunt your E&O insurance forever, and The Court must now adjourn because Order the Roomba has detected emotional distress in the corner and Reginald needs a moment.
SCANDAL RATING: 8.7/10 Nightstand of Doom
